As a sculptor, educator, and public artist, my mission is to create public art which engages the public interactively to show both celebration of and responsibility for public space and resources.

In my projects with art learners, I stress themes of strength in diversity, stewardship and sustainability.

I am a self-taught artist, with a degree in Classics and post college experience in archaeological illustration. I learned my trade in a bronze foundry where I learned the art of lost wax casting. I believe in the power of in depth art processes to compete with the mainstream culture which dilutes the richness of human experience into a commodity value.
